Ok, so I say, let's try another mod, maybe that can fix things. I use the dialogue box to dismiss them, but every time I take to them again, the dialogue options that come up are those as if they were still my followers. However, certain followers, like Uthgerd, Jenassa, won't follow me, but also can't be dismissed. UFO doesn't function properly, so I tweak load order to get previous functionality. I run BOSS because I had to chuck out some mods and install others (reached the 255 limit). So I came back to Skyrim after several months.
